Loving Husband, Son, Father & Brother
John J. Generelli, 61 of Nutley passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020. Born in Teaneck, to Virginia (Phillips) and the late John Generelli, he lived in Oakland, Kinnelon and Clifton before moving to Nutley 29 years ago. John graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Ramapo College and worked as an IT Consultant at ING for BKW Transformation Group in Piscataway.
The beloved husband of Marianne (Neas) Generelli, he is also survived by his mother, Virginia Generelli; his son Nicholas Generelli; his brother Daniel Generelli and his wife Nubia; his sister Suzanne Generelli; his mother-in-law Mary Neas; his brother-in-law Harry Neas; his canine companions, Lilly “Baby Cakes”, Charlee, Callie, Chianne and Lucy and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Along with his father, he was also predeceased by his brother, James Generelli and father-in-law Herbert Neas.
The funeral will be Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
