John R. “Jake” Jernick, passed away on February 7, 2023. Jake was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He owned and operated Jernick’s Alignment for 42 years. He was an avid fisherman and beekeeper. Jake was the son of the late William John Jernick and Joan Ann (Warner) Jernick and was the brother of the late William Jernick. He leaves his loving wife, Terry and stepdaughter Deborah and her husband, Jim and granddaughters Melissa and husband, Phil, Rebecca and husband, Matt and great grandchildren, Alex, Charlotte, Noelle and Juliana. He also leaves his siblings, Brian and wife, Nancy, Judy Manganello and husband, Lou, Kathy Jernick, Susie and Angie Jernick and many treasured nephews and nieces. He was a proud member of the VFW and American Legion and was the first member of the North Jersey Bluebird Society.
