John G. Squartino, 86 of Newark passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at his home. Born in Newark, the son of Alfred and Rose (Stefanelli) Squartino, he was a lifelong resident.
John retired as a machinist and a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Saxton Falls Rod & Gun Club and a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence (Ferrara) Squartino, his children, Lisa Squartino and Alfred Squartino and his wife, Laurie and his grandchildren, Jared, Zachary, Larisa and Natalia.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Theodora Russomanno and Marion Renga.
The funeral services were private.
