John Tenore, 60 of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at his home. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Giambrone) Tenore. John lived in Bloomfield and Belleville before coming to Nutley 26 years ago. John was an operations and logistics specialist with Anheuser-Busch, Budweiser Brewing Co. in Newark for 40 years where he built many life-long friendships before retiring in 2020. Anyone who knew him will fondly recall his love for gardening, cooking, music , dancing and the NY Giants and Yankees. You could also find him singing Sinatra songs or playing the piano. He enjoyed date nights with Mary and spending time with his daughters. A devoted husband and father, John is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Pinto) Tenore, his daughters, Alyssa (Nuni) Tenore, Jenna Tenore and her fiancée Oskar Musial. He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine. He was the dear brother-in-law of Carmen and John Morgan, Roseann and Don Franklin, and Victor Pinto, nephew of Aunt TeeTee, uncle of John Paul, Melissa, Ryan, Taylor, Keira and Thomas. He also leaves behind many devoted cousins and close family friends.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Saturday February 26 from 11-2 pm.

A Memorial Service will also be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm.
