Retired machinist, devoted husband, loving father & grandfather
Joseph “Butch” Bruzzi, 74, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Nutley, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021. The son of the late Joseph and Rose (Carchia) Bruzzi, he was born in Newark and lived most of his life in Nutley prior to moving to Vero Beach 9 years ago. Joseph was a machinist for Howmedica Corp. in Rutherford before retiring and was a member of the Nutley Elks Lodge #1290.
Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda Bruzzi. He is survived by his son Joseph A. Bruzzi and his wife Mariella; his daughter, Michele Kaufman and her husband Richard; a sister, Anne Fagan; 8 grandchildren, Gianna Bruzzi, Sean Murphy, Joseph C. Bruzzi, Liam Murphy, Angeline Bruzzi, Valentino Bruzzi, Linda Kaufman, Lucciano Bruzzi and long time companion Eunice Golia.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley on Friday, May 7 at 9:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 pm.
