Joseph M. Gabriele, 89, of Nutley, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of Rosaria (Terranova) and Luigi Gabriele, he was a lifelong resident of Nutley. He was the owner of Gabriele Asphalt Co. in Nutley.
The beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Dipsey) Gabriele, he is survived by his children, Joseph T. and his wife, Marian, Roseann, Robert B. and his wife Nancy and Gary L. and his wife, Sharon; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Beyond the Rainbow Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 405, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 would be appreciated.
