Joseph W. Smith, 82 of Manalapan, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Born in Jersey City, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Winona (Ward) Smith. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. Joseph retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Newark. He is survived by his brother, George A. Smith. He was predeceased by his late brother, Gordon J. Smith.


The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20th at 11am at from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The interment will follow at Bay View Cemetery in Jersey City.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on from 10am till service time.
