Bloomfield centenarian, Retired machinist
Joseph R. Zdyrski, 100 of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday July 28, 2018. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Adam and Stella (Dychdalewicz) Zdyrski. Mr. Zdyrski came to Bloomfield in 1960 and was a machinist with E.J. Brooks Co. in Newark before retiring. He is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine M. (Cirillo) Zdyrski, his son, Joseph G. Zdyrski and his wife, Macia and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Michelle, Jennifer and Jeremy. He also leaves his sister, Mary Bellarosa and was predeceased by his 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday August 1 at 9 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield at 10 am followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be at the funeral home on Tuesday July 31 from 6-8 pm.
