Registered Nurse, Devoted wife and mother
Josephine D. Perez of Belleville, passed away on Thursday May 3, 2018. Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Eleanor (Incarnation) de Castro. Mrs. Perez lived in New York City before coming to Belleville 17 years ago and was a Registered Nurse at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. She was previously employed at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City and was also a talented singer. Josephine is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Perez, her son, Aedrick Perez and her daughter, Arianne Perez. She also the dear sister of Rogelio, Edwin and Rolando de Castro, Ofelia Escala, Imelda Palma, Adoracion Untalan, Gloria Jamiro, Melva Caampued and the late Nita de Castro.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday May 7 at 8:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 am. Cremation will be private. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-7 pm.
