Joyce J. Frade, 83 of Lake Hopatcong and formerly of Belleville, passed away on Sunday July 18, 2021 at her home. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Madeline (Tamburro) Bove. Joyce lived in Belleville and Manahawkin before coming to Lake Hopatcong 7 years ago. Joyce was a secretary with the Township of Belleville for 30 years before retiring and was a former member of the Belleville Music Parents Association and Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop 307. She was also a member of the Manahawkin Italian American Civic Association. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John O. Frade, she is survived by her daughter, Carlene Cannata and husband, John, her sons, John Frade and wife, Janine and Michael Frade and wife, Terri and her grandchildren, John and his wife, Keri, Robert and his wife, Amanda, Danielle, Michael, Mark and Jessica. Joyce also leaves her great grandchildren, Briella and Aria. She was the dear sister of Antonia Bartell and her husband, Fuzzy and the late Dolores Johnson.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-7 pm.
