Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
June A. Long, of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Harriett (Klepp) and Rudolph Bohnenberger, she grew up in Irvington and lived in Nutley prior to moving to Belleville 55 years ago. June retired from C.R. Gibson in Clifton.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony Long; her children, Debra Long and her wife, Carol Maioran, Nancy Filangieri and her husband, Jerry, Jeanette Long and David Long and his wife, Norma; 7 grandchildren, Samantha and J.J., Ashley, Tyler, Jaden, D.J. and Brianna; 2 great-grandchildren, Noah and Andrea and her brother, Charles Bohnenberger. She was predeceased by her sisters, Eleanor Cavolo, Doris and Ruth Bohnenberger.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be preferred.
