Karen Demmer, 77 of Newark, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Born in Hermine, Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Elizabeth (Tomica) Sleber, she lived in Pennsylvania before moving to Newark 53 years ago.
Karen Demmer is survived by her loving children, Laura Robbins and her husband Robert, John Demmer Jr. and his wife Cindy, Stephen Demmer and his companion Andrea Mitchell and Eric Rivera and his wife Neddy, her brother Richard Sleber, her sister Maureen Sleber and her grandchildren, John Demmer III, Emily Demmer, Holden Rivera, Zoe Rivera, Robert Robbins, and Zachary Robbins.
The cremation will be held privately.
