Devoted mother, loving sister and aunt
Kathleen Pizzo, of Manalapan, passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late, Albert and Rose (Carnavale) Sopranzi. Mrs. Pizzo was lived in Marlboro before coming to Manalapan last year.
Kathleen was the beloved mother of Adam, Stephanie, Alexandra, Michael and Victoria. She also leaves her former husband, Michael Pizzo. She was the sister of the late Joseph Sopranzi and Rosemarie Salvo, dear aunt of Mary Jo Pena, Michael Salvo and wife, Margo, Rose Marie Tuscano and husband, James, Joseph Salvo and wife, Michelle and Vincent Salvo and dear great aunt to her 11 grandnieces and grandnephews and 1 great grand-nephew.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday February 22 at 9 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield at 10 am.
The cremation services will be private.
Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
