Retired Teacher
Leticia B. Legaspi, 73, of Essex Fells, passed away on January 15, 2023. Born in the Philippines, she lived in Bloomfield prior to moving to Essex Fells. Leticia retired as a teacher, and worked at Harland Clark Printing, West Caldwell after her retirement. She was the daughter of Jose and Paz (Tulud) Balingit. She was predeceased by her loving husband Nilo and is survived by her son Owen “John”, sisters Lydia and Linda Manansala, and Alicia Cano, her brothers Medy, Bong, Chito, Danilo, Reynaldo and Felix, also her four grandchildren Sarafina, Noah, Sawyer, and Evangeline.
The funeral will be Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley NJ at 10:30am.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 17, and Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 4-8pm.
Cremation will be private.
