To her family and friends Lisa Cofone will be remembered as a giver, a woman with a bursting heart, and a jokester – among other things. Lisa was born in Belleville, NJ on April 12, 1965. The last child of Annuziato and Maria Cofone, who had emigrated from Calabria, Italy, Lisa grew up in Nutley with her six siblings and graduated from Nutley High School in 1983. She later moved to Miami, FL where she resided for approx. 10 years and where she gave birth to her son, Antonio E. Cofone. Lisa returned to Nutley in 1996, with her family, where she resided for the remainder of her days. Lisa is a child of God - she went in glory to be with our Lord on April 7, 2020, she was welcomed at the gates of heaven by her mother and the rest of her beloveds. Lisa is survived by her son, Antonio Cofone, her grandchildren, Angelise & Annunziato Cofone, her sisters, Angela Gil & Rita Montes and many cousins, nieces & nephews. Lisa is loved and will be dearly missed.
