Luis Crespo, 38, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Born in Newark, he lived in Belleville prior to moving to Bloomfield 10 years ago. He worked as a Sprinkler Fitter, for the Sprinklers Fitters Union Local 696.
Luis was born on May 3, 1980, in Newark, NJ to parents Gail and Ismael. He worked as a Carpenter before his recent job as a Sprinkler Fitter. Luis was a loving Uncle to nieces and nephews and was passionate about helping anyone who came across his path. Anyone who knew, “Lou” can recall a story of him impacting their life positively in one way or the other.
Predeceased by his father, Ismael, he is survived by his mother, Gail Kleinschmidt and her husband, Walter; his sister Raquel; two brothers, Israel and his wife Jinny, and Vincent and his wife Jaime, his nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Joshua, Alyssa, Kevin, Colin, Jacob and Aleena.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 10:30 a.m.

The interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
