Licensed Practical Nurse

Lynn Dancey, 76, of Belleville, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 peacefully at her home. Born in Glen Ridge, the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy R. (Marron) Dancey, she lived in Newark prior to moving to Belleville 43 years ago. Lynn went to Nursing School and earned an L.P.N. at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Montclair after which she primarily worked for Montclair Community Hospital prior to her retirement from East Orange General Hospital.
She is survived by her sisters, Christine Tyrpak and her husband, Stephen and Jessica Groark and her husband, Robert and her nieces and nephews, Jason Tyrpak, Amanda Charles and Michael and Brian Groark.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29 at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 10:30 a.m.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be appreciated.
