Mabel G. Farrell, 103, of North Arlington, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Mabel was the daughter of the late John and Anna Josephine (Gennett) Hausser. She retired as a Hudson County Sheriff’s Officer. She was a former volunteer for Nutley Family Service Bureau and North Arlington Seniors. Mabel enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City and Bethlehem.
The funeral will be Monday, January 23rd at 9am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Lyndhurst.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, January 22nd from 2 – 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (www.olmclyndhurst.com) would be appreciated.
