Obituary for Margaret E. Klemm (Rath)
Margaret E. Klemm, 100 of Nutley, passed away on Sunday January 24, 2021 at her home. Born in New York City, she was raised in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Michael Rath and Bridget (Culleeny) Rath. Mrs. Klemm, came to Nutley in 1951 and had been employed as bookkeeper with American Woolens Co. in New York City. Mrs. Klemm, along with her beloved husband, Rudolph E. Klemm, were avid travelers, having travelled extensively through the U.S., Europe and Canada.
She was predeceased by Rudolph in 2013. She is survived by her devoted children, Kevin Klemm and his wife, Maria, Brian Klemm and his wife, Mary Beth and Karen Jurcisin and her husband, Ken. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Theresa, Kaleigh, Sean, Jillian, Daniel and Matthew. Margaret was the dear sister of the late John Rath and the late Mary McKenzie.
Service and entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington will be private.
A memorial service for Mrs. Klemm will be planned for a later date.
