Margaret Rummel of Nutley, passed away on Thursday February 9, 2017 at her home. Born in England, the daughter of the late Reginald and Margaret (Loader) Thomas, she came to Nutley in 1947. Mrs. Rummel was a laboratory assistant with Hoffmann LaRoche in Nutley before retiring. Margaret was also active in community organizations. She served on the Nutley Family Services Bureau and was a Nutley election poll worker. She was a member of the Nutley AMVETS Auxiliary, volunteered for the monthly SYA luncheons and was a past grand secretary of the Royal Arcanum Auxiliary.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Nelson Rummel, Margaret is survived by her daughters, Leslie Montero and her husband, Kenneth, Susan Rummel and her granddaughter, Rebecca Montero
Services and burial at East Ridgelawn Cemetery will be private.
