Loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother (mamita) and friend
Maria Del Carmen Klein, 68, of Florham Park, NJ, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2021. Born in Palmira, Colombia she resided in Wharton, NJ for 30 years, East Hanover and lastly Florham Park. Maria was the daughter of Luis Eduardo Garcia and Carmen Tulia Olave Garcia of Colombia. Maria was a self-employed seamstress and interior decorator. In addition to her successful business, she enjoyed gardening, antiques, garage sales and preparing lavish meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed music from the 1970’s and entertaining her family for holidays. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and instilled in them and her children an amazing work ethic and family values. She was predeceased by her brother Luis Harvey, sisters Esther Sylvia, Gloria and Lucena, and her beloved dog Koda Bear. Maria leaves behind her loving son Juan Carlos, daughter in-law Jennifer, daughter Claudia, son in-law Luis, brothers Armando, and Alfaro, grandchildren Victoria and Christian (Schichtel), Alexandra, Cristian, Jadyn, Ella, and Evan.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Assumption Parrish 91 Maple Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960 on Saturday, November 6th at 9:30am. Live stream available via assumptionparrish.org.
