Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Maria E. Tulp, 88, of Nutley, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. Born in Newark, NJ, Mary was the daughter of the late Anton and Thekla (Schurr) Ippisch. She retired as a receptionist for Montclair Kimberly Academy. The beloved wife of the late Albert R. Tulp, Mary is survived by her children A. Richard Tulp, Heidi Nolan, her brother Ernest Ippisch, her sister Carol Ippisch, five grandchildren Dakota Brower, James Brower, Brandyn Tulp, Evan Tulp, and Nicholas Tulp, and great-granddaughter Cora.
Mary was our "crazy cat lady" and cared for many indoor and outdoor cats throughout her lifetime. She worked with Linda and Patti of Save The Animals Rescue Team and TNR having helped numerous kittens and cats in Nutley, Belleville, and Bloomfield.

A Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11am at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.
