Marie J. Balzano, 85 of Nutley, passed away on Sunday July 4, 2021. Born in Jersey City, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rose (Calabrese) Monaco. Marie lived in South Westerlo, NY before coming to Nutley in 2013 and was a medical billing clerk with Essex Radiology in West Orange before retiring. She was also a member of the Italian American of Albany and was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Nutley. Marie was predeceased by her be beloved husband, Jack Balzano. She is survived by her loving children, Marisa Balzano-Fink, John Balzano and Rosemary Pinedo, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Marie was also the dear sister of Theresa Bey and the late Samuel Monaco and Antoinette Grunwald.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 10:30 am followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
