Marie M. Wachter, age 94 of Linden NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Filippo Mongiovi & Filippina (Fiorenza) Mongiovi. A talented musician, Marie played the accordion and harmonica beautifully. She was an avid reader and an animal lover, having a special fondness for cats. Marie treasured the company of her family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph Wachter, she is survived by her nephews, Wesley S. Evans and Leonard W. Evans; her niece, Patricia D. Tackett; and her grand-nieces & grand-nephews, Heather Talarico, Craig Tackett, Leonard Evans Jr., Deleen Edwards, and Thad Evans. She is predeceased by her brothers, Benedetto, Vito, and Salvatore, and her sister, Lillian Evans.
Funeral services will be private.
