Obituary for Mark R. Grande
Mark R. Grande, 52 of West Caldwell, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Ronald and Jody (Rizzolo) Grande, and stepson of the late Madeline (Cardinale) Grande. Mark lived in Kearny before coming to West Caldwell 8 years ago. Mr. Grande was a steamfitter with Amber Air in Union, NJ. He was a member of Steamfitters Local #475. Prior to becoming a steamfitter, Mark worked many years for R. DeFrank Paving and was an extremely talented tradesman, pursuing a career as a state inspector.
Mark enjoyed spending his time with those he loved. He enjoyed travelling with his fiancée Sharon and their friends, fishing, cooking Sunday dinners for his friends and family, watching Youtube videos, and reading Weird NJ. He also loved his iced coffee, watching John Wayne films and poking fun at his daughters every chance he got.
Mark is survived by his fiancée, Sharon DeMayo Moutis, his daughters, Jenna and Cassidy Grande and his bonus daughters Katherine and Sophie Moutis. He also leaves his sisters, Donna Daly and Dana Hayek, along with many dear nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday January 5 from 4-7 pm. Cremation will be private.
