Mary Theresa Amorosi, 58 of Verona passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home. Born in Belleville, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Goglia) Carrara, she lived in Bloomfield prior to moving to Verona 4 years ago.
The beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Amorosi, Mary is survived by her loving son, Nichols J. Amorosi, Jr. and his wife, Olivia; her cherished granddaughter Alessia; a sister, Sharon Connolly; two brothers, Peter and Anthony Carrara; and niece Ryane Rodriguez & her husband Frankie, and their children Lucas & Matthew.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 13, 2019 at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 Seventh Avenue in Newark at 4 p.m.
The entombment of her urn at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield will be held privately.
There will be no public visitation prior to the Funeral Mass.
