Mary “Jeannie” Eandola, 84
Mary passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, March 11, 2019. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Alfredo “Firpo” and Florence (nee Argenziano) Eandola. She lived in Newark for most of her life before moving to Nutley in 2001.
Jeannie was predeceased by her brother Thomas “Sonny” and by her sisters Carmela “Millie” Mescia and Josephine. She is survived by her Godchild Deborah Barmann and her husband Neil.
Mary was a career administrative assistant with The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., worked for Hollywood Memorial Park, and owned and operated 4 Seasons Limousine Service, Chatham, NJ.
The family offers their heartfelt appreciation to Merry Heart Senior Care in Succasunna, N.J. for their compassionate care and support during Mary’s illness.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 Seventh Avenue in Newark at 10 AM.
Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street, Nutley on Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
