Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother
Mary Jo (Candido) Schreiber, 83, of Belleville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 15, 2022. Born in Newark, she resided in Bloomfield, prior to coming to Belleville 25 years ago. Mary Jo was the daughter of the late Arthur and Carmella (Jacobini) Cocozza. Mary Jo retired as Director of Nursing at Clara Maass Hospital School of Nursing, she attended Rutgers in Newark, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Seton Hall University Nursing with a master’s degree, and was a founder of NJ Stroke Activity Center in Belleville. Mary Jo was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Schreiber. She is survived by her loving family, son John Arthur Candido, daughters Elizabeth Candido, Candice Candido, Mary Jo (Missy) Iemmello and Lauren Haverick, 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, 1 born today.
The funeral will be Friday at 11:00am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley. Service will follow at 12 Noon.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, March 17, 4-8pm
