Retired Bookkeeper
Mary J. Pilconis, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Rose (Bradley) & John Garcia, she lived in Newark prior to moving to Harrison 40 years ago. She retired as a bookkeeper from Pausin Manufacturing Co. in Newark. Previously, she was the mail room supervisor with P. Ballantine & Sons Brewing Co., also in Newark.
The loving wife of the late Edward Pilconis & mother of the late Diane, she is survived by her son, Edward; her sister, Marjorie Golden; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
Cremation services will be private.
