Mary V. Russo, of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late John and Carmella (Matullo) Russo, she lived in Brooklyn, Rutherford and Belleville prior to moving to Nutley 9 years ago.
Mary retired from Skyline Steel Corp. in Kearny as an Executive Secretary.
She is survived by her sisters, Charlotte Schmitt, Dolores Russo, Carmel Di Paolo, Ann Allman and Joanna Vigilante and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Louise Rovell and her brother, Dominic Russo.

The funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.

The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be preferred.
