Devoted wife, loving mother & grandmother. Beloved sister & aunt

Mary Ann Sperrazzo, (Cioffi), 95 passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Rose Garden Nursing Home in Toms River.

Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey to the late Ferdinand and Giovannina (DeSantis) Cioffi.

Upon marrying Philip they resided in Newark and also lived in Elizabeth, North Arlington, Keyport, and Nutley NJ for several years prior to Mary moving to Toms River in May of 2019 to be closer to her daughter.

In her youth Mary worked for D. S. Plumb, a manufacturer of general clock works, and Tung-Sol, a manufacturer of electronics both located in Newark, NJ. Mary also worked at McCrorys, Grand Union/Basics, and Green Brothers Market in North Arlington for many years as a cashier.

Married to her loving husband Philip Sperrazzo for 53 years prior to his passing in November 2012. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lora Baumann and son-in-law William, and her beloved grandsons, Steven and Christopher Amato.
Mary was the dear sister of Ida Marsillo and was predeceased by her sisters Louise Limitone, Anna Glospie, and Helen Failla and her brother Albert Cioffi. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the S. W. Brown and Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street, Nutley on Friday, September 25 at 9:30 AM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:30 AM Friday followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, September 24 from 4 to 7 PM.
