Maureen A. Bennett 62, of Belleville passed away on December 15,2022. Maureen was born in Jersey City and moved to Nutley in 1966 and lived in Belleville since 2006. Maureen was a public relations coordinator with Summit Medical Group. She attended Nutley public schools and received her BA from Fordham University and her Masters degree from Rowan University. Maureen attended Odeius Gael in Ireland to learn the Irish language. She had been a volunteer with the Nutley Police Department Auxiliary and a member of the Nutley American Legon Post 70 Auxillary. She and her husband Edward enjoyed traveling extensively. Maureen was a cherished wife of Edward J. Bennett and a devoted loving daughter of Regina M. (Hanratty) and Edmund M. Reilly. She is survived by her sister Eileen Reilly and was predeceased by her sister Sharon Reilly. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

There will be a funeral service on Sunday December 18, 2022, at 4:30 PM.
Visitors will be received at the SW Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Sunday from 2pm till 5 pm.

Cremation will be Private.
