Obituary for Michael Patrick Adessa
Dear Brother & Uncle, U.S. Postal Service Retiree
Michael Patrick Adessa, 75 of Belleville, passed away on Monday March 2, 2020. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Leo and Phyllis (Ciano) Adessa. Mr. Adessa lived in Bloomfield before coming to Belleville in 1976 and was a mail handler with the U.S. Postal Service in Whippany before retiring. Michael was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a former member of the Clifton Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his brothers, Gary Adessa and wife, Nancy, Kenneth Adessa and wife, Carole, his sister Leona Markovich and husband, Gary and his nieces and nephew, Allegra, Laura, Rachel and Kenneth.
A Funeral Service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday March 5 at 10:30 am followed by the interment at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
