Michael J. Rossi, 84 of Nutley, passed away on Sunday June 17, 2018 at his home. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Louis R. and Ida (Murphy) Rossi. Mr. Rossi was a teacher with the City of Newark Board of Education before retiring and was the former owner of Rossi Travel in Nutley. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Seton Hall University and was also a U.S. Army veteran. Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife, Angela (Galeotafiore)Rossi and his sons, Michael J. Rossi, Jr. and Maj. Robert A. Rossi, MD. He is survived by his daughter, Maria Rossi-Donadia and his grandchildren, Lacey, A.J. and Nicholas Donadia.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 22 at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.

There will be no visitation prior to the Funeral Mass.
