Mildred De Capua, 100 passed away on Friday, August 09, 2019. Born in Nutley, the daughter of the late Leopoldo and Pasqualina (Palmieri) Gianfrancisco she was a lifelong resident.
Prior to her retirement in 1984, she worked as an inspector Shulton, Inc. in Clifton for over 25 years.
The beloved wife of the late Samuel De Capua, she is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Caporaso; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her daughter, Pat Mastandrea; her son, John S. De Capua; her sisters, Jean Butte and Louise and her brothers, Anthony, Michael, Frank, Joseph and Charles Francisco.
The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
