Mildred “Mille” Hornchak, 78 of Sussex, passed away on Friday October 14, 2022. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mildred (Iaculo) Mucchiello. Millie lived in West Orange, before coming to Sussex 8 years ago. A devoted wife and loving mother, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, John M. Hornchak and her son James Hornchak. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Hornchak and her son John M. Hornchak, Jr. She also leaves her grandchildren, Charles Jimmy Springer, Jr., John M. Springer, Michael A. Springer, Alexandria Hornchak, John M. Hornchak III, Julia Hornchak, Mia Filipe and Michelle Filipe and her great grandson, William Springer. Millie was the dear sister of Frank Mucciello, Joseph Mucciello, Mary Tubman, Patricia D’Addario, Theresa Sorrentino, and the late Peter Mucciello, Dolores Fiore, John Mucciello, and Angelo Mucciello.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday October 18 from 5-8 pm. A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
