Muriel L. McDonald, 94 of Nutley, passed away on Thursday January 5, 2023. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Verna (Mason) Hoffman. Muriel lived in Kearny before coming to Nutley 68 years ago and along with her husband, Robert, was the co-owner of Foremost Vending Co. before retiring. A devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Muriel was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert G. McDonald and her sons, Robert and William McDonald, she leaves her daughters, Lee McDonald, Patte Sinisi, her daughter in law Patricia McDonald, her grandchildren, Tara Trinka, Ryan Philip, Stan Fejnas, Randi Ramos, Lauren Downey and Bryan McDonald and her great grandchildren, Vincent, Mattix, Gabriel, Logan and Macklin. She also leaves her sister, Joan Kuwalik.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street Nutley on Tuesday January 10 from 5-8 pm. A Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday January 11 at 10:30 am followed by burial at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
