Loving aunt, retired banker
Norma L. Fortunato, 94, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Saturday October 12, 2019. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the Ernest and Bertha (Pisciotta) Fortunato. Miss Fortunato lived in Belleville before moving to Nutley 35 years ago. Norma was banker with PNC Bank, formerly Midlantic Bank in Millburn for 36 years before retiring in 1987.
A loving daughter, sister and aunt, Norma leaves her nieces and nephews, Marianne Nazaretta, Christine Papa, Ernest, David, Christopher and Mark Fortunato, Amy Dolan, and her sister-in-law Patricia Fortunato. Aunt Norma will be missed by her family and friends. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister Gloria Nazaretta and her brother Ernest Fortunato.
Cremation was private.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley on Thursday November 7 at 10:45 am.
