Orbelia M. de Armas, 80, of Lyndhurst, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Born in Placetas, Cuba, Orbelia was the daughter of the late Pablo and Clara (Leiva) Gutierrez. She retired as an electronic technician for Weldotron Corp. in Piscataway, NJ. The beloved wife of the late Catalino F. de Armas, Orbelia is survived by her devoted children, Pablo de Armas and his wife Adriana, and Alicia de Armas, and her brother Angel Rene Gutierrez. Along with her husband, she was also predeceased by her brother Juan Gutierrez.
The funeral will be on Wednesday, March 30th at 8:45am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45am at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church 10 Franklin Pl, North Arlington.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 29th from 3-7pm
