Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather
Pasquale L. Marotti, of Belleville passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. Born in Kearny, the son of the late Joseph and Autilia (Zollo) Marotti, he lived in Kearny prior to moving to Belleville 55 years ago.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Tool & Die Mechanic with ITT, Inc. in Nutley. Pasquale was also an active member of the Christian Apostolic Church in Belleville for many years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Ruth (Leonardo) Marotti; his children, Rebecca Ogrodnik and her husband, Peter, Rev. Jonathan Marotti, Sharon Lipps, David Marotti and his wife, Grace and Ruth Brudnicki and her husband, David, and 6 loving grandchildren, Peter Ogrodnik, Adam Lipps, Joshua and Jordan Marotti and Hannah, Jeremy and Hadassah Brudnicki. He also leaves his sisters, Carol Boni and Sarah G’Argenio and his brother, Emmanuel Marotti. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by 3 sisters and brothers.
The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley on Friday at 10 am.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Christian Apostolic Church, 77 Wallace Street in Belleville would be preferred.
