Patricia Marie Godleski, 92 of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away Friday, May 5,2023, with her children by her side. Born in Belleville, NJ Patricia was the daughter of the late Jack and Mildred (Luke) McHugh. Patricia is predeceased by her loving daughter Kathleen Dwyer, and is survived by her son Vincent and wife Debra, daughter Carol Hatch, son John Godleski and wife Debbie, son-in-law Thomas Dwyer, grandchildren Marisa and husband James Smith, Ryan Godleski, Kelly and Danny Voicheck, Tara and Scott Voicheck, Lisa and Larry Musico, Dennis and Nancy Caprigilione, LeAnne and Mark MacQuesten, and Jessy Godleski, and sixteen great grandchildren.

Patricia was a hard working single mother who raised her four children with the help of her parents. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in 1995 as an executive secretary. She and her sister Joanie (deceased,) loved to bowl and take excursions to Atlantic City. Patricia and Joanie loved to throw holiday parties at their condo, inviting everyone. Patricia loved reading and crocheting. If you knew Patty, you loved her, she had the kindest heart. The matriarch of our family will be deeply missed. Heaven has received the sweetest angel.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley, Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 10am - 12pm. The Funeral Service will take place at 12pm.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
