P.S.E. & G. retiree, devoted husband, loving father & grandfather
Paul M. Cafone of Nutley, passed away on Thursday November 30, 2017. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Michael and Cordelia (Eikamp) Cafone. Mr. Cafone lived in Bloomfield before coming to Nutley 14 years ago, and was a mechanical engineer with P.S.E. & G in Newark before retiring. He was a graduate of NJIT (formerly Newark College of Engineering) and received a Masters Degree in Business from Seton Hall University. Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Diane (Blair) Cafone, his children, James P. Cafone and his wife, Tricia, Robert P. Cafone, Laurie Diffley and her husband, William and his cherished grandsons, “his good boys”, Dylan, Bailey, Ryan and Connor. He was dear brother of Michael and Patrick Cafone, Agnes McDonnell and the late Monsignor James Cafone and the late John and Edward Cafone.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday December 4 at 10 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 11 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-7 pm.
