Obituary for Paul F. LaRegina

Paul F. LaRegina, 58 of Lyndhurst passed away on November 24, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. After a long six-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Paul fought one of the most incredible battles to be seen, and exceeded all medical expectations, with utmost determination, strength, and pride. He was one of the most selfless people who truly enjoyed helping others. He loved his family, his work, and most importantly life. He was born in East Orange on August 30, 1964, he resided in North Arlington, prior to moving to Lyndhurst 29 years ago. Paul is the son of the late Louis and Shirley LaRegina. He was the proud owner and operator of Elite Auto Body of Nutley for 30 years, and a former member of Nutley Unico. Paul had a deep passion for antique cars and boats. He loved spending his summers on his boat “The Mayor” with friends and family at the Jersey Shore. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Evangelista) LaRegina, his son Louis LeRegina, sister Maryann LaRegina, Mother-in-law Sondra Evangelista, Sister-in-law Gina Palmieri, and husband David, as well as his loving nieces Braina and Ariella Palmieri. Alongside life-long friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, from 3-7pm at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The funeral will take place on Monday, November 28th at 9am at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 No. 7th Street, Newark at 10am.

The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
