Pauline Fantacone (Gentile) of Fairfield, NJ born September 9, 1922, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 17, 2022. Pauline was born in Belleville, New Jersey, to the late Mary (Bell) Gentile and Carmen Gentile, where she lived most of her life married to her husband, Anthony Fantacone, retired Belleville Police Officer. They were married 74 years and 10 months before he passed away in 2016. After Pauline retired from Tiffany and Company, Newark, NJ, she became a temporary employee of Best Foods (Thomas’ English Muffins) Wayne, NJ, for 15 years. Pauline and Anthony had five children, Tony Fantacone, Paul Fantacone, Frank Fantacone (deceased) Dolores Sollitto and Donna Fantacone. She had eight grandchildren, Jesse Fantacone and his wife Nyati, Stacey Ayers and her husband Keith Ayers, Christine Fantacone, Danielle Sollitto, Jaclyn Sollitto, Raymond Romanski, Angela Fantacone and Pauline Fantacone, and eight great grandchildren.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 9am – 11am. The Funeral service will be at 11am. The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
