Obituary for Peter A. Vocaturo
Retired Operating Engineer
Peter A Vocaturo, 81 of Nutley passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his home. Born in Belleville, the son of the late Rosario and Bomina (Turano) Vocaturo he was a lifelong resident of Nutley.
Prior to his retirement, He worked for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 and was an Army Veteran of the Lebanon Peacekeeping Mission.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Angelina P. (Macri) Vocaturo; his sons, Peter A. Vocaturo, Jr. and his wife, Karen and Ross V. Vocaturo and his wife, Trisha;4 grandchildren, Jessica Kandola, Zachary, Darrien and Dante’ Vocaturo; 3 great-grandchildren, Luke, Lydia and Landon and his sister, Frances McCann. Along with his parents, Pete was also predeceased by 10 sisters and brothers.
The funeral will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley 9:45 am.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:45 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
