Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother
Phyllis Greenfield Scimone, 84, of Bloomfield passed away on Saturday July 23, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria (Cotrone) Greco. She was an insurance claims processor for Prudential Insurance Company and later worked at Provident Bank. She was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all.
Phyllis is survived by her son Anthony Greenfield Sr. and his wife Rosemarie, her grandchildren Andrea Bliss and her husband David, Ashley Greenfield, and Anthony Greenfield Jr. and his wife Brittany, and her great-grandchildren Addison and Sophie. She also is survived by her sister Rita LaChiana. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold Greenfield Jr. and son Thomas Greenfield.
Visiting will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home on Monday July 25 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the COPD Foundation or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. (See links below)
A funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 9:30am at St Thomas the Apostle in Bloomfield N.J.. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, N.J.
