Phyllis A. Seelman, 79, of Nutley, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. Born in Newark, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mafalda (Braccioforte) Restaino. She retired as an office manager for Casa Israel North Ward Center in Newark. Predeceased by her husband Charles Seelman, Phyllis is survived by her children Nicholas J. Seelman and his wife Jeanine, Stephanie Seelman-Vaporis, and Michael C. Seelman and his wife Elana, her brother Carmen Restaino, 7 grandchildren Jessica Petrassi, Jordana Fox, Madison Seelman, Zachary Vaporis, Alex Vaporis, Brittany Seelman, and Sara Seelman, and 3 great-grandchildren Leo, Mila, and Elliana.
The funeral will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am at St. Mary’s Church 17 Monsignor Owens Pl, Nutley, NJ.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 1st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
