Obituary for Ralph C. Armento

Loving Husband, Father & Caregiver

Ralph C. Armento, 67 of Kendall Park passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at his home. Born in Newark, the son of the late Ralph W. and Mary C. (Giangeruso) Armento, he lived in Nutley prior to moving to Kendall Park 28 years ago.
Prior to his retirement, he was the Manager of Office Operations of Wheelchair & Ambulatory Sports USA. It’s mission was to provide multi-sport and recreation opportunities for individuals with a disability by facilitating, advocating, and developing a national community-based outreach program, providing resources and education, conducting regional and national competitions, and providing access to international competitions in conjunction with the International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports Federation.
Previously he worked with Mellon Bank in New York and Prudential Insurance Co. of America in Newark as a trainer of claims examiners.
He was the former president of the Tri State Athletic Association and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Princeton.

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Debra L. (Gerold) Armento and his children, Jennifer L. and Thomas C. Armento. He also lovingly cared for Trulie, Ethan, Jacob and George.

The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 3:30 p.m.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time.

The cremation services will be held privately.
