Loving Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather
Ralph Capizzi, 75, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on September 11, 2021. Ralph was born in Newark and lived in Belleville for many years where he raised his family before moving to Smyrna, DE. Ralph was a warehouse manager for Ropak Manufacturing in Dayton, NJ, and he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Ralph was the son to John and Ann (Pastore) Capizzi. Ralph had a passion for sports and was the Belleville Rec Peanut League Baseball Director for many years. He was predeceased by his first wife Carolyn (Nole), his second wife Margot, and his sister Philomenia DePhillips. Ralph leaves behind his loving children Christopher Capizzi and his wife Grace, Marc Capizzi and his wife Tracy, Danielle Bocchiaro and her husband Joseph, and Gerard Capizzi and his wife Teris, a sister Cheryl Proto, and four grandchildren Nicholas, Joey, Juliana and Carolyn.
There will be a Graveside Service at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ on Monday, September 20, 2021, at 11:00am. Funeral arrangements from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 4-6pm.
