Loving Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather
Raymond Barona, 82, of Nutley, formerly of Queens, NY, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Raymond was the son of the late Albert and Eleanor (Villalba) Barona. He was a U.S. Army veteran, honorably discharged in 1960. He retired as a Respiratory Therapist for St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. Raymond is survived by his children Randy Barona and his wife Adrianna and Robyn Stapleton and her husband James, sisters Theresa Barona, Anita Quattrochi, and Jennie Guadagno, grandchildren Amanda Martinez and her husband Michael and Jonathan Colon, and great-grandchild Layla Martinez. He was predeceased by his former wife Rose Barona.
Visitors will be received from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 3 – 7pm. The Funeral service will be at 6pm.
Cremation will be held privately.
